Musician's (Taro Hakase) message:
My mother was born in Ohara in Kyoto. When I was a kid, whenever it is holiday I would
go to my grandmother’s place to play. In Spring, we picked wild vegetables, in Summer
we went to catch inserts and played in the river, in Autumn we picked mushrooms, and
we played with snow in the Winter. This was how I spent my childhood surrounded by
the wonders of nature. To many, Kyoto has the image of the ancient city of Japan, but to
me it is more like a village in the mountains. With the forever changing seasons and the
richness of nature, no matter how far into the future, Kyoto will always be the home for
the Japanese people.
